Yingting Shih’s Review Summary: Kishu Toshogu Shrine was founded in 1621 and is a shrine of the Tokugawa family. In the shrine, there are the carvings of Hidari Jingorō and the murals of Kanō Tan’yū. It has been designated as a national monument of Japan. Because Nikko Toshogu, the head of Toshogu Shrine, is located in Kanto, this shrine is known as Nikkō of Kansai. The shrine is on the mountain, you have to finish the 108 stone steps before you can arrive. After going up, the view is good. If you have a trip to Kansai, you can stop by.
