你順著大林巷一直往上走，就會看到這個路口，進去右手邊就是停車場。
路中間有顆大樹，下面有導覽地圖。
這裡叫坪林聚落。
去參觀永興宮。
廟前有搭鐵皮。
廣場很平整。
還有飲水機。
永興宮主祀福德正神。
左側有廁所。
接下來，再往右上走，上面有兩條小步道。
一上來後就是香樟樹林登山步道。
下一個路口就是出口。
再往上走，順著觀音寺的方向走。
這警告語真有趣！
左手邊就是觀音寺，裡面主要是民家和餐廳，名為夢林道咖啡（林道夢？）。
旁邊那條路就是馬路馬山步道。
其實山上的視野到處都好，你可以輕易地找到缺口，鳥瞰濁水溪和永興大橋。
