攝計師真心不騙評價：出礦坑是台灣最早發現有石油的地方，不僅是亞洲最古老，也是全世界第二古老的油井。之所以叫出礦坑，是因為一開始大家以為冒出來的是硫磺，所以叫出磺坑，後來應該是誤植，變成是出礦坑，但其實不是磺也不是礦，而是油井。早在1813年，這裡就被發現有石油。後來日本人總共在此鑽探了99口井，可見油源非常豐富。這裡的地質也很特別，是一背斜構造，中央最高，兩翼向外傾斜，所以你要一直往上爬才會到達鑽油井平台。最神奇的是，這裡目前仍在開採天然氣，讓它成為世界仍在開採與生產的最古老油田。整體來說，這個園區保存得非常好，不管就景觀還是文化意義上來說，它都是台灣的必遊景點！

Yingting Shih’s Review Summary: Chuhuangkeng Site is the earliest discovered oil pit in Taiwan. It is not only the oldest oil well in Asia, but also the second oldest oil well in the world. As early as 1813, oil was discovered here. Later, the Japanese drilled a total of 99 wells here, showing that the oil source is very rich. The most amazing thing is that natural gas is still being mined here, making it the oldest oil field still being mined and produced in the world. Overall, the park is very well preserved, and it is a must-see attraction in Taiwan, both in terms of landscape and cultural significance!
