攝計師真心不騙評價：據說這顆老樟樹原本跟太平七星山上其他六顆被合稱「七星」，這顆僅存的大樟樹公，遮蔭面積廣達70平方公尺，要四個成人才能環抱樹幹，美到令人摒息！樹前有一座福德祠，樹下有休憩區，可以讓你走一圈。作為台中市最年長的樹，這裡無疑是台中的必遊景點。

Yingting Shih’s Review Summary: It is said that this old camphor tree with the other six camphor trees on the Seven Stars Mountain were originally called “Seven Stars” . This only remaining camphor tree has a shaded area of 70 square meters and requires four adults to embrace the trunk. There is a Fude Temple in front of the tree, and a rest area under the tree. You can walk around. As the oldest tree in Taichung City, it is undoubtedly a must-see attraction in Taichung.
